Charitable Causes 2022
We proudly sponsored Harefield Hospitals Charity Golf Day which raised a total of £28,000. All the funds raised went towards the Charity’s Next Generation Genetics appeal, which will improve the diagnosis of inherited heart and lung conditions. We also proudly sponsored Ryley's Dream to Walk Golf Day which was an event set up to support the ongoing cause to help Ryley, who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, to walk and play football like a normal, everyday, boy. The SHLA (Sir Herbert Leon Academy) Project in partnership with John Sisk & Son Ltd in Milton Keynes involved us donating members of our workforce, experience and knowledge from our Unity Place site. This project was aimed at aiding the next generation of the construction industry in transforming two unused plant rooms into a new kitchen and toilet. Members of our workforce were on hand to aid the students in completing the drylining and finishes required in these two rooms which has given these students some valuable experience they can use in their future endeavors.
Continuing the ongoing fundraising for Harefield Hospital, the wider T Lott family took part in a 4 mile fun run around the Hospital grounds with all funds raised going towards projects to improve the care of patients at Harefield Hospital. for more information about the run and the fund raising, please follow this link.
As we continue with our works in Mayfair for Balfour Beatty, we donated members of our workforce to aid Balfour Beatty in transforming a local Community Centre in North Paddington.
To round off 2022, the week before we closed for Christmas, our Health and Safety Manager, Spencer Baker, delivered some festive cheer by donating food to local foodbanks around some of our sites and head office along with the relevant Project and Site Managers. We donated to a Bermondsey, Hanwell, Lambeth, St Albans and Westminster foodbank.
